About Bloc Party
The musc that Bloc Party made was influenced by Sonic Youth, Joy Division, Gang of Four and the Cure. The band began as Angel Range, moved on to Union and then finalized on Bloc Party. Sending a demo to the legendary band Franz Ferdinand, the band were invited to play at Domino tenth anniversary bash in fall 2003 and this was their big break.
