About Candlemass
Candlemass is a popular musical group from Stockholm, Sweden. The band's musical style can be characterized as epic doom metal. After musician Leif Edling dissolved the band Nemesis, he started his own band under the name Candlemass. The first Candlemass album was "Epicus Doomicus Metallicus", released in 1986 and now considered a milestone in the doom metal scene.
