About Cathedral
Cathedral is a well-known musical group from Coventry, England. The band's musical style can be described as a combination of black metal and doom metal. The band was founded in 1989 by Lee Dorrian (a former member of Napalm Death), Mark "Griff" Griffiths (a former Carcass roadie) and Garry "Gaz" Jennings (formerly of Acid Reign). At first Cathedral played very heavy and slow doom metal.
