With somewhat experimental rock and then moving to a softer sound, Chicago hovered around the top of the charts with their songs for most of the 70s and into the 80s, a time considered to be their heyday. Accumulating their greatest hits of the past 40 years in 2002, Chicago came out with a two-disc collection, which reached the Top 40 in the US, naturally.
