About Daft Punk
At first Daft Punk was called "Darling" and were a voiceless indie cover band. Later on, went on to look for further creative grounds on the dance floor, and rechristened themselves Daft Punk. The pair released their debut single, 'The New Wave,' in 1993 on the celebrated Soma label and were instantly hailed by the dance music press as the work of a new breed of house innovators.
