Beg for Mercy is the debut release of G-Unit, an album which is not a mixtape like all their previous releases as a crew. The east coast rappers have been around the hip hop scene long before this, however, calling themselves G-Unit, which stands for Guerrilla Unit or Gangster Unit long before the scene took on this hardcore direction.
