G-Unit is the posse from which hardcore east coast rapper 50 Cent comes from. With G-Unit, 50 Cent recorded some of his earliest material, mixtapes, before his breakthrough album Get Rich or Die Tryin'. The rapper has continued hanging with G-Unit, or at least whoever of the crew was out of jail at the time.
