About Garbage
Butch Vig had tremendous success as an alternative rock producer, with Nirvana's Nevermind and The Smashing Pumpkins' Siamese Dream under his belt. He then decided he wants to jam too, and formed Garbage, a super-group of producers and one fiery, Scottish, sexy vocalist in Shirley Manson. Garbage became one of the biggest and best selling rock bands of the 90s, probably outperforming Vig's brightest expectations.
