About Garbage
Producers Butch Vig, Duke Erikson and Steve Marker started off Garbage as an informal jam session in 1994. After recruiting vocalist Shirley Manson, the band took off as a fully committed and quite successful rock band, selling four million copies of their self-titled debut album. The mid 90s, with a strong presence of MTV, was the perfect time and place for the stylish Garbage to appear and make their debut on the rock world.
