About Genesis
One of the most important progressive rock bands in history, Genesis were founded in 1967 and have seen one major change in their lineup, and many alterations in their music. Genesis started as a pop band with simple melodies, but turned to a more progressive rock direction with long songs and complex structures, before once again turning to a more mainstream direction, their most successful style to date.
