About Jefferson Airplane
Jefferson Airplane and the Summer of Love were tied hand in hand, the first helping define the latter and vice versa. In general, the Jefferson Airplane were one of the top tickets of the 60s, even paid handsomely for this live concerts and releasing Top 20 hit after Top 20 hit. Later band lineups did not keep the name Jefferson Airplane, instead taking on similar names such as Jefferson Starship, thus distinguishing the 60s from later periods.
