About Megadeth
Megadeth is an American heavy metal band, founded in Los Angeles in 1983 and with several break ups and line up changes remains active to this day. The roots of Megadeth lie in fellow heavy metal band Metallica, of which frontman Dave Mustaine was a member before founding the band. In My Darkest Hour, a song written by Mustaine, is dedicated to Metallica's former bass player Cliff Burton, who died in 1986 in a bus accident.
