Scottish post-rock group Mogwai express their influence in the name they chose for the label they founded. Rock Action Records, the label founded by Mogwai, is named after the Stooges drummer, who changed his name from Scott Asheton to Rock Action. Other influences can be traced to Sonic Youth and the Smashing Pumpkins.
