About Police
Soon after the dust cloud raised by punk rockers in 1977 calmed down, one could clearly make out a reggae beat in the background. This was the rise of the Police, a three piece rock band that took punk, reggae and good looks to form one of the most popular and important groups of the 80s. After their disbanding, the Police members continued playing music, most notable of these Sting's solo career.
