About Simon and Garfunkel
When Simon and Garfunkel teamed up in the early sixties, they did so as a folk duo, even though Simon's pop roots would influence the unique sound that they would create. Signing a record deal with Columbia, they soon released an album that was unsuccessful. Again, as they had done in the past, the parted ways with Simon moving to England, where he played the folk circuit and recorded an obscure solo album.
