About Simple Minds
Other than having a successful 80s decade that stretched into the 90s, Simple Minds are remembered most for their 1985-86 success, when their song Don't You (Forget About Me) appeared on the movie The Breakfast Club and sent the band to worldwide popularity. Simple Minds realized this change and embraced it, recording an album in this new style they were trying to adopt, an American style, leaving behind their fans of old.
