About Smashing Pumpkins
American alternative rock band the Smashing Pumpkins formed in 1988 and disbanded in 2000 after releasing some of the most critically acclaimed and influential albums of the decade, namely Gish and Siamese Dream. Later work by the Smashing Pumpkins was no less aspiring and ambitious, but not as successful critically and their support has also declined over time.
