About Steve Winwood
Prior to his solo career, which lasted from the 70s but peaked in the 80s, Steve Winwood was a member of some of the greatest rock and roll bands of the day - Blind Faith, Traffic and Go included. With the Spencer Davis Group, it was the young Steve Winwood who wrote the hit singles Gimme some Lovin' and I'm A Man, though at the time more a young kid than a man.
