About Vangelis
But Vangelis did not only write soundtracks to different films, he also aimed at making a solo career of his own. He issued such popular recordings as 1985's The Mask (LP), 1988's Antarctica, 1990's The City, El Greco (1998). In 1992 he received the Chevalier Order of Arts and Letters award (one of the mane awards in France).
