Stretch Arm Strong appeared in South Carolina in 1994. Matt McCarty (vocals and bass), John Barry (bass), David Sease and Scott Dempsey started the band (both: guitar). In the middle 90's the they recorded their first single with the Bedlam Hour group. The record was followed by the EP, which was released on the Insurgent Sounds label.
